We are pleased to invite you to our 6th on-property spring bull sale. The sale will commence at 1pm and inspections from 10.30am, for anyone who can’t make sale day it will again be interfaced online with AuctionsPlus.

Crawford Angus take great pride in their cattle and focus heavily on the commercial buyer they aim to have good structured, well-muscled cattle with carcase attributes.  All cattle are run with sheep under foot in a commercially run family operation.

This year will see 40 of the best even line of bulls that the stud has produced featuring 13 sons by the high-priced Intensity P604, this sire is in the top 1% for calving ease, top 4% for birth weight making him a great heifer option, he is also in the top 7% for milk and has high marbling being in the top 15% of the breed.  Also selling for the last time will be 4 sons of Texas Kelvin Kline K542 who has left good functional females within the Crawford herd, his sons toped the 2019 sale and sold a son in 2020 who went on to stud duties.

Our bulls face an extensive selection criterion and are grown out on oat crops and pastures. All bulls have undergone a bull breeding soundness examination (VBBSE) involving;

  • Structural soundness
  • Testicle palpation and measurement
  • Physical examination of internal and external genitalia
  • Vaccination against vibiosis, leptospirosis and pestivirus
