Crawford Angus’ first sale top $16,000

It has been a long time coming however the Graham Family’s first Crawford Angus bull sale held on property “Crawford”, Tumorrama will be remembered as a good one.

The family sold 33 of the 36 bulls catalogued for an average of $8364 reaching a top of $16,000 for Crawford L292.

L292 was sired by the highly popular US sire EF Complement 8088 sold to Fernhill Holdings, “Fernhill”, Adjungbilly.

In fact local support was strong Gunnong Pastoral CO, “Gunnong”, Coolac, purchased both of the two second top money bulls at $13,000.

Crawford L334 was sired by Milwillah Elsom H283 and Crawford L313 was again sired by EF Complement 8088.

Julong Partnership, “Julong”, Tumut, purchased another EF Complement 8088 son in Crawford L304 for $12,000.

While Memfam Pty Ltd, “Rosemount”, Gundagai, purchased Crawford L322 a son of Milwillah Elsom H283 son for $12,000 also.

Fernhill Holdings also led the volume buyers purchasing five bulls in total for a $10,600 average.

Julong Partnership; DJ Graham family trust, Adjungbilly; and Gunninguldrie Pastoral Co, “Gunninguldrie”, Lake Cargelligo all purchased three bulls for averages of $10,500; $8333; and $7333 respectively. 

The video auction was conducted by agents in conjunction Elders and Landmark with Joe Wilks the man with the voice.
